Angels & Airwaves, or AVA as they’re often referred to by die-hard fans, comprises of Tom DeLonge (lead vocals, guitar/synths), Ilan Rubin (drums/guitar/backing vocals/synths), David Kennedy (guitar) and Matt Rubano (bass).

After a healthy seven year wait, the band have released their sixth album since forming in 2005, with LIFEFORMS heading straight to #1 in Australia and #3 in the US on the Alternative Charts.

The band will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on September 28, with their LIFEFORMS World Tour, starting the following day in Riverside, CA. On the US leg of the tour, they will be supported by Bad Suns, along with 1990nowhere and My Kid Brother on select dates, then the European Tour slated for March 2022.

I was fortunate enough to catch the full sundown Angels & Airwaves set at Lollapalooza in July, the first large rock festival to return in the US since Covid-19 put a halt to live music. And boy! Wasn’t it a treat to be back amongst a rock show! Check out our the snaps below!
